If you are dealt two cards that equal to 21 exactly, then you will get your winnings plus 1.5 times more! A face card (Jack, King Queen) equals ten, the Ace can equal to 11 or 1, depending on how it helps your had. Let’s say you have a 7 and an Ace. This means you have 18 total, if you were to “hit” to shoot for a three and you received another Queen, you would have 21! If you like the cards that you have in your hand then you will decide to “stay” and not take anymore cards.

If you were to have a total of 18 in your hand and the dealer comes up with 18 as well, this would be called a “push.” A push means that you will keep your money but neither the dealer or you are a winner in this case. If the dealer comes up with 17 and you have 17 as well, the dealer automatically has to hit and receive another card. This is where you can get lucky because the dealer will most likely bust. |

If you have lower cards, do not stop hitting until you have reached at least 17. This is a relatively safe place to be, if the dealer hits 17, they MUST hit and receive another card no matter what.
